Design
Rangeman watches are designed to be unbreakable. They have a tough body to withstand the outer forces and hits. G-Shock as the name suggest are shock resistant watches. The back of body is engraved with a logo of wild cat, the creature which roams freely in the jungle. The strap of the watch is made up of Carbon-Fibre which gives it a rough look.
Sensors
The new Rangeman watch have Triple Sensor inbuilt. Three sensors include altitude/atmospheric pressure sensor, compass bearing, and temperature. These sensors can help a person in survival situation like rescue operations where each second matters the most. Rangeman watches can be handy in such cases as there is no room for error. All the sensors can be activated using one button. Each sensor has a different notification sound so that the user can distinctly identify without even looking at the watch.
Other Features
The watch is designed to survive in harsh environments, so its made water-resistant, dust resistant and mud resistant. It also has features like radio wave reception which can be used upto six times a day. Thermometer can be used to record temperature ranging from -10 to 60 deg Celsius. It also has world clock which shows time of 48 cities. Manual memory measurements (memory capacity: up to 40 records of altitude, atmospheric pressure and temperature, compass bearing and/or time can be saved), full auto-calendar, 12/24-hour format, sunrise/sunset time display, daylight graph, battery level indicator, full auto LED backlight (Super Illuminator) with afterglow selectable illumination duration: 1.5 or 3.0 seconds. You can set 5 individual alarms in the watch.
Battery Life
The watch once full charged can work continuously for 23 months with power saving mode on. The watch with so many features and functions has great battery life.

Japan, announced the release of its RANGEMAN watches, the latest addition to its G-SHOCK brand of shock-resistant watches. These tough watches are equipped with triple sensors whose rich functionality provides support for the wearer, even in survival situations.
Since the release of the original G-SHOCK watch in 1983, the brand has continued to evolve, with construction and design all based on outstanding shock-resistance. As part of the G-SHOCK line, the “Master of G” series of watches is designed for use in the most extreme environments with models featuring rust-resistant, dust-resistant, or mud-resistant construction. These watches deliver the ultimate in toughness and performance.
The RANGEMAN GW-9400 watch is the latest additions to the “Master of G” series and provide functions, construction and operability designed to support the wearer, even in survival situations. This new watch, for the first time, incorporates triple sensors to measure compass bearing, altitude/atmospheric pressure, and temperature. Users can check compass bearing information in situations with limited visibility for orienting, or use barometric information to forecast sudden changes in weather, making this watch a reliable partner in situations where there is little room for error.
The RANGEMAN 9400 watch is equipped with a dedicated triple-sensor button that can start measurements with a single press. This is useful in situations where every second matters, such as rescue operations and ranger duties. Each sensor mode can be set to have a unique notification sound, so the user can confirm the triggered sensor mode in the dark, without looking at the watch face. The stopwatch and time stamp function, which records the time, can also be activated with one press of a button.
The back of the watch is engraved, this time with a stylized image of a wild cat, a creature known to roam freely in the jungle, symbolizing the strength to survive harsh environments. Additionally, the case design features a newly developed cylinder structure to guard the sensor button, enhancing shock-resistance and making the button easier to press.
The RANGEMAN GW-9400 watch has added features such as 200 metres water resistance, radio wave reception with automatic reception up to six times a day, thermometer measuring -10 to 60 degrees Centigrade, 48 cities World Time, 5 independent daily alarms. Manual memory measurements (memory capacity: up to 40 records of altitude, atmospheric pressure and temperature, compass bearing and/or time can be saved); full auto-calendar; 12/24-hour format; sunrise/sunset time display; daylight graph, battery level indicator, full auto LED backlight (Super Illuminator) with afterglow selectable illumination duration: 1.5 or 3.0 seconds. This watch is equipped with a Tough Solar™ power system and is capable of continuous operations for about 23 months with the power saving function on after full charge.
